In a traditional counseling narrative regarding addiction and relationship issues, ordinary people who face extraordinary challenges are counseled to move away from disease and behavior that causes pain and suffering.
John Crepsac offers a different approach. He encourages people who face common challenges (such as addiction and relationship issues) to summon extraordinary qualities (i.e., courage, commitment, inner strength) with intention and focus on health and well being. As a result, parents, families, and adolescents go from surviving to thriving.
